Bowman Asphalt, Inc. offers convenient asphalt and concrete recycling services at our Bakersfield and Ridgecrest asphalt plants. Over the years we have crushed hundreds of thousands of tons of old demolition material for local contractors and paving companies throughout Kern County. After crushing the reclaimed asphalt, aggregate, and concrete, we then screen it to remove any impurities, and use it to create our standard Class 2 road base. Made from a mixture of different sizes of crushed rock, from ¾" all the way down to a fine dust, our Class 2 road base fully meets Caltrans requirements for asphalt mixes. As such, it is highly compactible and suitable for use in a wide range of construction applications, including road pavement, parking lots, potholes, walkways, driveways, and more.

We accept concrete and asphalt demolition for a nominal fee at our Bakersfield asphalt plant. Our Ridgecrest plant charges a nominal disposal fee. We also sell our recycled concrete and asphalt at highly cost-effective prices.
